BNS Golf Classic

The Parents Committee of Balrothery National School hosted a golf classic at Balbriggan Golf Club on Friday the 20th of May. Despite the best efforts of the weather, spirits were not dampened and all teams turned out for what was a very successful event.  We would like to thank all the participants who on the day battled through the rain, raising over €4,500 for the new school building project. It also received huge support from the local business community and we would like to thank them on behalf of the parents committee and the wider school community. Congratulations to, BM Stair Lifts (1st prize), Peter & Hugh Dolan, Denis Mehigan & Jum Butterly (2nd prize) & Ray Nugent, Wayne Lamb, Shane Maguire & Tony Rogers (3rd prize). Unfortunately, there was no winner of a Mazda 3 for a “hole in one” on the 6th Hole, sponsored by Brian Reynolds Car Sales, Drogheda.
