CHRISTMAS OUTREACH COLLECTION FOR THE HOMELESS

north_county_outreach1Following on from last years success, Balrothery National School will be organising a collection of food, toiletries and clothes to donate to the North County Outreach group in Balbriggan again this year.

It’s for a very worthy cause. As well as helping the homeless last year, North County Outreach helped 15 families who were struggling. They provided the families with Christmas hampers and helped with their Christmas shop. What they need to help provide these hampers is vouchers for butchers, Smyths, Argos, Tesco, Aldi and possibly selection boxes and tins of sweets. They also would greatly appreciate any shoe boxes in particular for men which might include toiletries, vests, underwear, hats and gloves.

The parents committee are looking forward to great support again this year from our school community and would like to thank all those who contributed last year.
