Ravelóid music & culture festival

Raveloid

Information Session about Ravelóid

We would like to invite you to an information session about the new Ravelóid festival coming to Ardgillan Castle in June. We will have an information stand this Saturday May 7th between 11:00 and 14:00 in Ardgillan Castle itself. Representatives from the Ravelóid organising committee and Fingal County Council will be available to answer any questions about the festival and the preparations in the coming weeks.

Ravelóid is an exciting new music & culture festival as well as the biggest Irish language event of the 1916 Centenary Programme. Ravelóid will be the first ever summer festival putting the Irish language & culture at the centre of a dynamic mixture of contemporary & traditional music, comedy, dance, literature, discussions, workshops and more.

The festival welcomes all with an interest in the Irish language – there won’t be an exam on the way in! More information can be found at www.raveloid.ie

Seisiúin Eolais faoi Ravelóid

A chairde

Ba bhreá linn cuireadh a thabhairt daoibh bheith i láthair ag seisiúin eolais faoin fhéile nua Ravelóid atá le teacht go Caisleáin Ard Giolláin le linn Mí an Mheitheamh. Beidh seastán eolais againn Dé Sathairn seo 7 Bealtaine idir 11:00 agus 14:00 i gCaisleáin Ard Giolláin. Beidh ionadaithe ó coiste eagrúcháin Ravelóid agus ó Chomhairle Contae Fhine Gall ar fáil le ceist ar bith a fhreagairt faoin fhéile agus na hullmhúcháin sna seachtain romhainn.

Féile cheoil & chultúir cheannródaíoch í Ravelóid & príomhimeacht na Gaeilge le linn Chlár Comórtha 1916.  Beidh Ravelóid ar an gcéad mhórfhéile samhraidh chun an Ghaeilge & an cultúr Gaelach a chur i lár an aonaigh le meascán spreagúil, spraíúil de nuacheol & ceol traidisiúnta, greann, damhsa, litríocht, cainteanna, ceardlanna agus eile.
Beidh fáilte roimh chách – ní bheidh scrúdú béil ag an geata! Tuilleadh eolais ag www.raveloid.ie

Is mise le meas,

Aodhán Ó Deá
